Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Art (Maternity Cover) to join a High School for Girls based in Norfolk.
This High School for Girls is looking for a part-time Teacher of Art (Maternity Cover) to join their successful Art and Textiles department for up to one year from September 2025.
They run GCSE and A Level courses in Textiles and therefore require an experienced and committed teacher for these courses, as well as the teaching of KS3 Art and Textiles. Textiles is a popular part of the curriculum and many girls progress onto either Art Foundation or degree courses.
The ideal candidate will be an inspiring and innovative teacher who can demonstrate flair in the classroom and motivate, as well as challenge, students of all abilities.
Specialist skills in painting and drawing are an essential part of this role, as is proficiency in Photoshop. Additionally, the ability to teach across a range of art specialisms including photography, 3D design or graphics would be beneficial but not essential.

This High School for Girls was founded in 1875 and is an independent day school for girls from 3-18 with approximately 600 pupils.
