Stamford High School (SHS), are seeking to appoint a well qualified and enthusiastic part-time Teacher of Art to join the successful Department at Stamford High School.
The post would suit a newly qualified teacher or a more experienced teacher. It is anticipated that the post would be approximately 0.4 FTE.
The successful applicant is expected to teach Art to A Level; the ability to work to a high standard in ceramics or other 3D media is desirable but not essential. There is also an expectation that he or she will contribute to departmental activities outside the classroom, e.g. lunchtime clubs and evening lectures, alongside working closely with other team members in the continual development of lessons and work schemes. A willingness to offer support to other aspects of the extra-curricular life of the school, including boarding, is assumed. Single person accommodation may be available.
