Job overview
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, effective and enthusiastic specialist in Art from September 2017, to this highly successful, over-subscribed school which was recently featured in the regional press as one of the highest performing secondary schools in Staffordshire. We gained ‘Good’ in our most recent Ofsted inspection and as part of the Local Authority’s quality assurance strategy, we were granted Category 1 status, which is the highest category of school performance.
The successful candidate needs to have the necessary knowledge and skills to teach all aspects of Art to students aged 11-18 years. We expect the successful candidate to have the necessary knowledge and skills to teach Art from Year 7 to GCSE and who will be able to contribute to a small amount of teaching to Design and Technology (Textiles and Graphics).
We invite applications from excellent classroom practitioners who can motivate, engage and inspire our students and work collaboratively with colleagues. Salary: Pay range between £22,467 - £38,250 per annum
