North Birmingham Academy is looking to appoint a talented and creative part time Art/Textiles teacher to join a dynamic and successful department. We are looking for a genuinely inspiring and enthusiastic teacher to teach art/textiles across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5, the ability to teach some KS3 technology lessons would also be beneficial. We are looking for a teacher who can make a significant contribution to this successful department.

This is an excellent opportunity to join our Art Department in a school which has a flourishing creative arts tradition. The Art Department is extremely well resourced, with state of the art facilities and a suite of bespoke rooms including a kiln and a Photography studio.  At Key Stage 4, pupils study GCSE and Btec Art; students also have the opportunity to further their B-tec Art study at Level 3 in the sixth form. 

The successful applicant will be creative, well organised and will actively assist in the further development of Art within the Academy, contributing to the vibrant programme of extra-curricular support provided to all pupils. You will be an integral part of our team and be committed to working in a culturally and socially diverse school.

North Birmingham Academy is a co-educational academy school based in Birmingham for students aged 11-19.
