We are looking for an outstanding Teacher of ATL [Applied Transdisciplinary Learning] to play an important role in our growing Academy. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding teacher who has ensured that students have made accelerated progress in their learning and achieve to the very best of their ability. 

The successful candidate will be passionate about equipping students with the knowledge and skills required to play an active and successful role in today’s highly competitive, fast-changing world.

You will also be passionate about your own subject but also have the flexibility to teach and develop other subject knowledge and skills through the ATL assignments, as well as the 6 ‘Future Skills’. We are looking for an exceptional individual to play an important role in our unique and growing academy.

You would be joining a team who enjoy working collaboratively to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to play an active and successful role in today’s highly competitive, fast-changing world.

Park Academy West London is a new school for a new age, an 11-19 academy, based in Hillingdon Middlesex who joined Aspirations Academies Trust, from 1st September 2017.

Park Academy West London has a close working relationship with the Aspiration Academies Trust’s other academies in London. These are Rivers Academy West London, which was judged ‘Good’ in its recent Ofsted report, Space Studio West London, which specialises in space, aerospace, science and maths and, in the primary sector, Oriel Academy and Oak Hill Academy.

The Trust also operates the Aspirations Teaching School Alliance which provides high quality training and support for teachers. At Park Academy West London we aim to inspire young people to be adaptable, tolerant and prepared to work hard. We want them to take their place in the community and the wider world to be proud of their achievements and with the necessary skills, confidence and self reliance be successful learners.

The Academy is ideally situated ten miles from the centre of London and forty miles from Oxford in the London Borough of Hillingdon, with good transport links to the M4, M40 and M25.  The impressive  £26 million building opened in September 2005, offering state of the art facilities providing an excellent learning environment for the 21st Century.

Our impressive range of facilities includes: a suite of Science laboratories; Food Technology rooms and a garden; advanced Design and Technology workshops with industry-standard equipment; Art and Design suite with graphic design technology; the UK’s First LEGO Education Centre; a video editing suite; large drama studio; excellent music suite with advanced electronic music recording studio; individual practice rooms; a restaurant and fitness suite.
