Teacher of Biology

0.6 FTE (12/20 per week over 4 days per week) or up to full time

Maternity cover contract for up to 12 months

A well-qualified, inspiring and dynamic graduate is required to teach Biology. We have a thriving and innovative Biology department attracting over 130 girls to one of our Sixth Form courses including A Level Biology, IB Biology and IB Environmental Systems and Societies. A large number of girls choose to go on to study Biology related courses at degree level including Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary, Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Psychology and Natural Sciences.

The successful applicant will be part of a team of eleven specialist teachers. The department is well-resourced and full support with induction and continuing professional development is provided. 

All teachers are expected to contribute to the rich co-curricular life of the College, but there are no residential duties.
