The Heart of Mercia Multi-Academy Trust (MAT), formed on 1 April 2019 and delivers post 16 education in Hereford, Stourbridge and Worcester. Hereford Sixth Form College is part of this Trust. The MAT has an annual budget of £28m and serves the needs of 5,500 students across the region. 

Biology is a very popular and successful subject with students consistently achieving outstanding results at A Level, both raw and value-added.  The person appointed will be expected to help maintain this record of high achievement as well as demonstrating an enthusiastic commitment to ensuring students enjoy the subject.

We are seeking a newly qualified or experienced Teacher of Biology, to teach A Level and GCSE Biology resit. Ideally you will have a good honours degree in Biology or Biological Science and be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge of biological advances in Science. You will be able to motivate and relate to 16-19-year olds, teaching them effectively. You will be a strong team player with excellent organisational and planning ability coupled with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
