The School
Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is rated as Outstanding by Ofsted (2013) and as the only secondary school in the community of Kenilworth, is oversubscribed with motivated and well behaved pupils.
We are a split site, with Years 7 – 11 based at Leyes Lane and Sixth Form set on our Rouncil Lane site. The school is well resourced to support the delivery of the subject. The post holder will join a supportive team with opportunities for professional development.
The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent role of Teacher of Biology to join a busy, dynamic and thriving department of nineteen teachers. The successful applicant should be aspirational, creative, dynamic, innovative and have a genuine engaging enthusiasm for the teaching and learning of science. The department is well supported with a team of Science Technicians.
As a Teacher of Biology you should be able to teach Science across all ability ranges at key stages 3 and 4 including Biology at A Level.
