Graveney is an extremely popular and successful 11-19 school, situated in Tooting, SW17 on a pleasant site with excellent facilities. We have a commitment to providing the best opportunities to all students and to developing professional skills and career opportunities for staff.
We are an oversubscribed, co-educational school designated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted and widely recognised as one of the top 100 state-funded schools in the country.
We wish to appoint a highly motivated and committed teacher of Science to join our large, supportive and successful Science department and teach at all Key Stages. Sciences are very popular at Graveney and consequently we have many students who continue studying Science to A level; there are currently over 150 students studying A level Biology.
We have high expectations of our students with many aspiring to medicine or Oxbridge applications. At Key Stage 4, most students study separate sciences and staff usually teach only within their subject specialism.
This role offers an exciting opportunity for an inspiring teacher to work in a supportive and energetic team. To be successful, you will need to have excellent subject knowledge and be an outstanding teacher who is keen to develop their practice and bring continued success to our students.
Graveney Trust welcomes applications from NQTs and offers a very supportive induction programme. An allowance for additional responsibilities may be available for a suitably experienced candidate.
Closing date: Noon on Monday, 20th May 2019.
