Congleton Multi-Academy Trust (Cmat) is situated on the edge of Congleton in South East Cheshire, serving families from Congleton and parts of North Staffordshire. It includes Congleton High School, Black Firs Primary School and Castle Primary School. Teachers are expected to contribute to projects working with schools across the trust.
Teacher of Boys PE – Temporary
One Term, September – December 2019
Main Pay Scale
Cmat is seeking to appoint a highly qualified and inspirational teacher of Boys PE for an interim period, from September to December 2019. The successful candidate will be joining an outstanding department which has an excellent reputation within the local area. You will be expected to teach across the full age range and contribute to the teaching of academic courses which currently include GCSE PE, A Level PE, and Level 2 and 3 vocational courses. A commitment to further development and to participate in the school’s extra-curricular programme is essential.
The school has excellent sporting facilities, including a 3G pitch, sports hall, fitness suite, gym and extensive fields. In summer 2018, Congleton High School achieved the highest Progress 8 score in Cheshire and has an impressive track record of high academic achievement. The school has a strong Staff Development and Induction Programme embedded, and places high importance on the well-being of staff.
