Sherfield School is an outstanding independent, co-educational day and boarding school of approximately 450 pupils from 3 months to 18 years.  Sherfield School is set in 76 acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside close to Reading and Basingstoke.  The School has a forward thinking educational vision, a growing school community, impressive GCSE and A Level results and an ambitious development programme.   

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, committed and inspirational teacher of PE for September 2020 or January 2021.  The successful candidate will be an organised, positive and passionate individual with a strong work ethic.  They will be highly motivated, able to work collegiately and demonstrate the ability to excel in a truly fabulous educational environment.

The Sherfield experience provides a wealth of opportunity for students and staff to develop and work together to build a strong and ambitious future, where individuals can thrive and flourish in a supportive and caring community.  Physical education and sport is a central feature of our school experience, with outstanding facilities, talented students and excellent opportunities to progress and succeed.  In September 2020, the successful candidate will join a committed and highly professional team of staff, alongside a new full-time professional tennis coach and a range of other partnership programmes including golf and equestrianism.  The ability to deliver football, rugby and cricket is highly desirable, together with experience in leading a wide range of additional sports and fitness activities.
