Esher High School is an 11-16 oversubscribed high performing school. In our March 2017 Ofsted inspection the school was judged as ‘Good’ and this marked the start of our journey towards outstanding. We have enjoyed substantial investment in our facilities recently which has improved the learning environment across the School. We have a new state of the art Sports Centre with facilities for a wide range of sports, a fitness room, separate dance studio and a teaching room. Outside, we have 15 acres of playing fields and two hard courts.
We are seeking to appoint a talented and well qualified PE Teacher with initiative, drive and determination to teach KS3 and KS4 and to work within our dedicated PE Department. The ability to teach football or rugby would be an advantage. This job will provide an excellent opportunity for an outstanding teacher who is:-
- Passionate about PE and able to inspire students
- Able to demonstrate a positive and creative approach in the classroom
- Committed to the continuous process of raising attainment within the Department
- Willing to promote and contribute to a wide range of extra-curricular activities
