If you are a talented, highly motivated practitioner with the ability and enthusiasm to deliver innovative, inspiring and enjoyable lessons we would love to hear from you.   

We are looking for someone suitably qualified to teach boys PE, who has high expectations of themselves and their students, is able to work collaboratively as part of a team and can provide support for regular extra-curricular clubs and fixtures.  A specialism in football would be advantageous.

Hinchley Wood is an inclusive, high achieving and highly sought after school with 1,300 students on roll including 240 in our 6th form.  Located on the borders of SW London, we pride ourselves on celebrating student progress and development as well as academic achievement.  

In 2018 our Progress 8 score put us in the top 5% of schools nationally, and we are in the 100 top performing schools in England and Wales in terms of the progress our students make between the end of Key Stage 2 and their GCSEs. There is good uptake in PE at both KS4 and KS5, and in 2018 exam results were outstanding, with significant positive value added at both GCSE and A level (ALPS 3). 

The role is suitable for either a newly qualified teacher or an experienced practitioner with the possibility of a responsibility allowance for the right candidate.

Hinchley Wood School is a comprehensive coeducational secondary school based in Surrey, for students between the ages of 11 and 18. It gained academy status in 2012 and multi academy status in 2019 - Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership.  In October 2019 Hinchley Wood Primary School joined the Partnership.
