We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified teacher who has the ability to teach performing arts, including drama and dance, across the whole age and ability range. This role would equally suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher and would particularly suit a candidate wishing to further their career within a dynamic specialist setting. 

The successful applicant will:

  • be an enthusiastic, inspiring and creative teacher
  • have excellent subject knowledge
  • have experience of successfully delivering aspects of BTEC Performing Arts.

Closing date:  Friday 27/04/2018 Midday
Interviews:  Week commencing 07/05/2018

Start date:  September 2018

In addition to our Gardens site we opened King’s Park Campus in May 2016, a rapidly establishing, expanding new provision which meets the needs of young people with diagnoses of Autism and enduring mental health concerns. The successful applicant will be expected to travel between our sites.

Newhaven Pupil Referral Unit is a high performing and complex alternative provision set in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. We believe in providing opportunities for students to become independent and well-rounded individuals ready to embrace all that life has to offer, removing the barriers to learning that have hindered their progress up to now.
