We are seeking an outstanding practitioner to join our popular Economics and Business Studies Faculty from April 2020. If you have a passion for your subject, strong organisational skills and the enthusiasm and drive to inspire every student you teach, we are keen to hear from you. 

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Economics or a Business related subject and will be keen to share their expertise at this fascinating time in the global landscape.  We seek a colleague who can create innovative and exciting lessons, motivate students to secure outstanding examination outcomes and engender a love for this area of the curriculum.  

You will be joining a department which offers Business related courses up to A Level Economics, A Level Business Studies and Level 3 Finance Awards, in a school which highly values Enterprise.  All students study Personal Finance from Year 8.

About Wilmington Grammar School for Boys

Welcome to Wilmington Grammar School for Boys where we offer an  exceptional education for boys aged 11- 16 and an extensive post 16  programme which is co-educational for students in the sixth form.

Our aim is to produce well-rounded  individuals with a passion for learning and an enthusiasm for personal  development. Results are consistently of a high standard with the  majority of students going on to study in some of the most prestigious  universities, whilst a minority opt for the Higher Level Apprenticeship  programme as an alternative stepping stone to career success.

Consistently oversubscribed, the school  has grown over the past few years and now has over 900 students.  Although the website and prospectus can give you a hint of our ethos,  there is no substitute for a personal visit.
