Maternity Cover - TEACHER OF Business and ICT/Computing
This is a hugely exciting time to join Salford City Academy. The Academy is undergoing a huge transformation and is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of Business and ICT to cover a maternity leave.
We are looking for a teacher who is passionate about their subject and who can deliver exciting lessons and projects to engage and enthuse our students. The department consists of a Curriculum Leader and two teachers of business studies and computing/ICT. The department is transforming, with the best ever results expected in the Summer and an improving profile across the Academy.
We are looking for someone to continue to support our aim for Business and ICT to be an outstanding department with a huge profile across academy life. ICT/Computing is taught one hour a week at KS3 and 5 hours a fortnight for KS4. Business is taught 5 hours a fortnight at KS4. This role would require you to teach KS4 Business OCR Cambridge Nationals Business and Enterprise and KS3 ICT/Computing.

It serves a predominantly white working class population and the proportion of students eligible for student premium funding is above national average.
