We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic teacher to teach A Level and BTEC Business (0.6). The possibility of 0.8 or full time may be available for candidates who are also able to teach Law and/or Criminology, please clearly specify this in your application. The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for their subject area with the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 age range. With a demonstrable record of good or outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and achievement and supporting the wider college community. If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training, you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post-16 teaching.
New College Bradford, which opened in September 2019, is a 16-19 free school with 1,200 students on roll. The college sits within the New Collaborative Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust established by New College Pontefract (an Ofsted outstanding provider). The Colleges and Schools in the Trust work closely together, presenting exciting opportunities for collaboration, support, development and progression.
