The Governors of La Sainte Union Secondary School wish to appoint a full time, permanent teacher of Business to join a successful, popular and experienced department which offers a range of courses at Key Stages 4 and 5. We would welcome applications from newly qualified or experienced teachers. A TLR opportunity in either an academic or pastoral role may be negotiated for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will communicate a love of the subject to the students. At Key Stage 4, we offer GCSE Business and at Key Stage 5, we offer the Business Btec Level 3 Extended Diploma, the AQA A level Business qualification and the Edexcel A level Economics. The team are currently exploring further qualifications to add to its already impressive offer.

We are part of the LaSWAP consortium and teachers across all four schools collaborate effectively to offer an outstanding student experience. The post would suit a committed practitioner, who wants to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning. We want to recruit someone who puts students first, and who proactively focuses on their own pedagogical development both as a classroom practitioner and as a form tutor. We provide a highly supportive programme for our Early Careers Teachers (ECT) as part of the Camden Learning programme, and a diverse range of professional development opportunities for more experienced staff.

The leadership team are committed to providing quality support, guidance and coaching to develop our staff so that they may progress to the highest levels as teachers and leaders. The school is a workplace where staff are a friendly, welcoming and helpful.
