Barton Peveril is a vibrant and innovative sixth form college and this is an exciting opportunity to join our excellent Business Department. We are looking for a dynamic and inspirational Teacher of Business committed to ensuring learners fulfil their potential. Experience of teaching Law may also be beneficial. Working within the Business & Law team you will teach A level Business and BTEC Level 3 Business Diploma.

You will have a degree or equivalent in Business. You must have a commitment to active and innovative teaching and learning, both inside and outside the classroom. You will have the desire to be part of a successful teaching team and a willingness to contribute to new initiatives within the department.

Please note that this role is likely to include online/remote teaching and learning.

Applications from newly qualified teachers are welcomed and, if successful, we would support an NQT with a contract for the full NQT year.

We would advise you that posts advertised to start in September 2021 actually commence with student enrolment on 31 August 2021. Teaching staff are required to work this day but should you have an existing commitment please make this clear on your application and we will honour it.
