Linlithgow Academy is a comprehensive non-denominational secondary school with 8 associated primary schools in the communities of Linlithgow, Bridgend, Winchburgh, Torphichen and Westfield. The current school roll is 1194 with 88 members of teaching staff. The schools FME entitlement for session 2015/16 was 6.4%.
Linlithgow Academy has an excellent reputation in the location community, particularly for the high standards of conduct and confidence displayed by students. In addition to the formal curriculum, a wide range of extra-curricular and out of hours activities are on offer to pupils. The school receives a high level of support and encouragement from parents. Attendance at parents’ evenings is good and information and consultation exercises are well supported.
