Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well qualified teacher of Business, ICT and Computing.  Our ideal candidate will be a skilled practitioner who is dedicated to securing high levels of achievement for all our students through consistently outstanding teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. 

ICT and Computing is a core experience at Key Stage 3 and ICT is a popular option at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for computing and will help us to respond to the challenges of developing the computing skills of our students.

From September 2018 KS4 students will study Cambridge National IT Level 1/2 Certificate, and KS5 Btec National Extended Certificate in IT.

KS4 Business Students students study Btec Level 1 and 2, and at KS5 the National Extended Certificate.

You will be:

• An innovative, effective and inspiring Teacher with experience of some, not necessarily all these courses

• Able to demonstrate previous success in teaching Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 to students of all abilities.

• Passionate about providing every child with the support, tools and capacity to make outstanding progress in all lessons and in courses.

• A creative, inventive and dedicated classroom practitioner with a real passion for the subject and able to create a stimulating learning environment for our students.


Foxford is an 11-18 multicultural school which is known for its friendly, supportive ethos and ambition.  We are a forward thinking and busy school with lots of links to the community.

Foxford School and Community Arts College is a co-educational maintained secondary school situated in Longford, Coventry. The school is for pupils aged 11-18 and features a sixth form with capacity for 150 students. Foxford School and Community Arts College has a catchment area spanning the West Midlands, including the towns of Broad Heath, Holbrook and Bell Green.

The secondary school is maintained by Coventry City Council and accommodates over 1,000 pupils.
