Job overview

Swans International School, Marbella, are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Business and ICT teacher, on a one-year contract. The role would entail teaching Business Management (ideally to IB HL) and ICT from Key Stage 3 to IGCSE level. IB Business experience would be ideal but a background in GCSE/A level teaching will also be considered. This is an opportunity to spend a year in a high achieving school with excellent standards in all aspects of education. Both Business and ICT departments have achieved excellent results at IGCSE and IB in recent years and successful applicants will have a proven track record of high achievement whilst providing a stimulating learning environment that engages all students. The contract will be for one academic year from September 2021, but there may be opportunities that appear as the year progresses, which could lead to an extension.

Please note: experience of teaching PE  in Key Stage 3 would also be an advantage.

The school is well resourced with small class sizes and all staff members are given a Macbook or Ipad Pro to work on, with all classrooms set up with Apple TVs.

Requirements:

EU passport (UK passports are not now regarded as EU)/Spanish nationality/Spanish residency 

PGCE or equivalent qualification in Education with QTS

A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience

A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check

A full 5 year reference check
