The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to teaching and assessment on a range of courses within the department.  Business and Travel is one of the highest performing departments in the college, the results are consistently above sixth form college averages both for raw outcomes and value added.  The department is responsible for the successful delivery to 500+ students on business, travel and economics courses at Levels 1 – 3.  Our provision is BTEC L1 Vocational Studies, BTEC L2 Business, BTEC L3 Business, BTEC L3 Travel, A level Business, and A level Economics.  Please clearly identify in your application your experience within this range of provision, alongside any subject specialism.

The team consists of 15 exceptional teachers who work collaboratively to ensure that students receive an enjoyable, challenging learning experience and realise their full potential.  The successful candidate will be joining a department where there is a strong ethos of team-work and a culture of mutual support and development.  All courses have a full range of resources available for you to use and develop.  As a new member of staff you will be assigned a supportive mentor and you will participate in the college’s outstanding CPD programme.
