We currently have a vacancy for full-time teachers of Business Studies to up to A Level. We are seeking to appoint committed, organised and dynamic members of staff. Millfield prizes individuals who demonstrate passion for their subjects and who continually seek to develop their own teaching skillsets. You will be able to teach students across a broad ability range; Business Studies GCSE and A Level, and BTEC Level 2 and Level 3. You should be interested in seeking to share good practice, be committed to building a culture of enterprise and entrepreneurship, and have the willingness to contribute to the academic extension programme for potential Oxbridge students.

Founded in 1935, Millfield’s vision is to be the world leader for the development of children. There are nearly 1,300 students at the senior school (year 9 to U6), with a 3:1 ratio of boarding to day. Although essentially a rural British school, 20 per cent of Millfield students are international and come from more than 70 countries.

Our aim is discover brilliance in every child and to immerse them in academic, creative and sporting opportunities to develop this brilliance. We offer an exceptionally wide range of courses and provide multiple pathways through the school to meet the needs of the individual child. Courses range from the traditional academic route to vocational courses and BTEC. The curriculum is meticulously crafted to lead students through from the end of year 8 to the start of university life or the first steps of a career.
