Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching Business Studies to at least A Level.

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a full time Business Studies Teacher for a temporary supply assignment at one of our partner schools in north Doncaster. The role will include the delivery of both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5  Business Studies content.

The role

The role is an ongoing sickness cover, for an immediate start. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering Key Stage 4 content in line with the OCR specification, and experience of delivering Key Stage 5 content in line with the Cambridge specification. Whilst experience of these exam boards is preferred, they are not essential, as the school are keen to here from any candidates with good experience as a Business Studies specialist.

For the duration that schools remain closed in line with government guidelines, the desired candidate will be required to deliver lessons via video meetings from their own home. As an alternative, the school are happy to provide a classroom for lessons to be delivered from, however at this stage remote teaching would be preferred. Full training will be provided to support the desired candidate with the delivery of lessons via video meetings.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Business Studies Teacher, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching Secondary Business Studies up to A Level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
