Ashville College is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Business Studies, to join our successful and forward-thinking Economics & Business Studies Department. Business Studies is incredibly popular at Ashville and pupils regularly go on to study business, management or accountancy at Russell Group Universities.
You must be able to teach Business Studies to A Level, and an ability to teach economics would be desirable, but not essential. You should have a real passion for your subject and be constantly looking for innovative ways to share that passion with pupils.
The post is full time and would suit experienced teachers and NQTs.

Ashville College is a co-educational, independent school for day and boarding pupils aged 2–18. The college, set in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, comprises a pre-school, prep school and senior school with pupil numbers totaling around 870, 170 of whom are in the sixth form and 100 are boarders. The school is a registered charity, administered by Ashville College Trustees.
Ashville College was founded in 1877 as a boarding school for boys by the United Methodist Free Church. Expansion over the decades culminated in a merger with Elmfield College, Harrogate, in the 1930s, by which time Ashville was the largest private school in the north of England. The most significant development came in 1982 when the school become co-educational.
