Teacher of Business Studies

We are hoping to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated, enthusiastic and innovative teacher of BTEC Business Studies at KS4 and KS5 to join our growing, dynamic and supportive school. The ability to teach another vocational subject would be beneficial.

We require an energetic and enthusiastic teacher to join a successful and supportive Business department. We are looking for teachers with experience teaching BTEC qualifications and who understand the importance of a balanced vocational curriculum. We require a familiarity with BTEC assessment guidelines and an understanding of Quality Assurance procedures for internal assessment. The position offers an excellent opportunity for either an established teacher or an NQT to join our highly successful school with an opportunity to teach to A level standard for suitable applicants, who will receive great opportunities for further professional development.  If you are passionate about your subject and want to really make a difference to the lives of young people then Horsforth School could be the school for you.
