Teacher of Business Studies

Required for September 2019

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful department in the next stage of its development at a school which is focused of delivering the very best education for all. Very popular as an option at both KS4 (Business Studies GCSE and Business BTEC) and KS5 (Business A Level and Economics A Level) the department is expanding its offer to include Level 3 Business BTEC in September. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional, with a track record of delivering excellent results for students. Please note that there may be TLR available as a whole school responsibility for exceptional candidates (so please do refer to other areas of expertise in your statement).

Focused on improving the learning experience of all students you will understand that making learning relevant and developing industry links is essential to achieving the best outcomes. Much of your timetable will be focused on ensuring the Level 3 BTEC provides the best possible experience for our students and ensures progression for all. You will be able to teach Business BTEC and Business at both KS4 and KS5 but potentially will also develop as an Economics teacher.

• Experience of teaching Business Studies and BTEC KS4-5
• A track record of successful student outcomes at KS4 and KS5

• The ability to work as part of a team
