We are looking for someone with a passion for teaching & learning in Business Studies/vocational Subjects (i.e. Health & Social Care, Travel & Tourism, Retail) who can support us in achieving our aim of securing excellent outcomes for our students. You will have a passion for working with disadvantaged young people and will want to play a key role in improving outcomes for all learners. There is the potential for the right candidate to secure a pastoral TLR and may be a promotion for an existing pastoral leader/Head of Year.
We currently operate a School System and due to rapidly increasing student numbers, we are seeking to appoint either a Head of School (this could be a promotion opportunity for a existing Head of Year) or a Deputy Head of School, dependent upon experience. Experience or a passion for pastoral leadership is a pre-requisite of this role.

Welcome to Wodensborough Ormiston Academy.

We are a popular and oversubscribed 11-16 mainstream school with the additional expertise and facilities to include 3 focused SEND provisions for young people on the autistic spectrum, deaf and hearing impaired (ARC and Deaf Academy). Our small and bespoke 6th Form, WOA6, caters for students in Years 12 and 13 who have EHCPs.
