At The Regis School, we enjoy building positive relationships with young people.
The Regis School is a large 11-18 United Learning academy with an expected roll of 1550 students in September 2019 including a Sixth Form of approximately 200.
We are proud to be a ‘Gold’ Rights Respecting School recognising our commitment to upholding the rights of the child (UNCRC), a well-respected Sports College, an inclusive school gaining the Equalities Award, and an Artsmark Gold school. All staff and students know that we aspire to be a top performing school and we are making rapid progress in order to achieve this aim within the next 3-5 years.
The Regis School is blessed with excellent facilities on a large campus that includes a Sports Arena, nursery, primary school, Adult Learning Centre and Youth Centre. The school itself is large and modern and offers a fantastic learning environment that is well respected.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic teacher to join us to teach primarily Business Studies but may include Economics and possibly some IT, for years 10 through to 13. Vasos Vassiliou, our Head of Department, is happy to offer any support and training should you need or want it. The one thing you will definitely need is a love of Business Studies and know how to motivate our young people to feel the same.
Should you be looking for your first teaching post, we offer a bespoke induction and training programme, with built-in support and mentoring, to ensure this is the start of a long & successful teaching career.
We will give you a curriculum framework, a modern classroom with excellent facilities, comprehensive CPD opportunities, your timetable of classes and above all, the freedom to teach with creativity to motivate our students to work hard and achieve their potential.
We offer payscales above the national standard with rapid progression for those who get consistent outstanding student outcomes, reduced gym membership to our on-site gym, reduced fees for the on-site nursery, a laptop and a tablet device.
There is an open invite for you to come and see us because we appreciate that, in teaching, moving to a new school is a significant decision. We are convinced our young people will sell this opportunity better than anything you can read on a website, so we encourage you to come and meet us all. Our recruiter, Richard, is happy to arrange this for you. Richard.firstname.lastname@example.org / 01273 729465.
This is an exciting time to join us, you will become a part of a close knit and determined team, built on an ethos of trust and collaboration. As a member of The Regis School and United Learning you will receive excellent Continuous Professional Development (CPD) as well as a variety of rewards on the campus and wider.
