The Henley College is a highly popular and successful Sixth Form College in the heart of the Thames Valley. We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Business/Travel & Tourism who can contribute to the continuing success of both its Level 2 and Level 3 vocational BTEC Business/Travel & Tourism courses.
This teacher will be enthusiastic and ideally have a teaching qualification plus relevant industry experience in business and/or travel. A passion to motivate and engage post-16 learners within these popular subjects is essential. The department has a committed team of teachers and you will be actively encouraged to contribute new ideas for teaching and the learning experience of our students. The salary will be on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Main Teachers’ Pay Spine up to £37, 984 per annum (pro rata for Part Time Teachers).

The Henley College is a co-educational further education college based in Oxfordshire. It is a non-denominational college.
The college was created in 1987 and, in 2010, it was the first college in the UK to be granted a change of status to become a sixth form college.
The college is home to nearly 2,000 full-time students from over 100 schools across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and Oxfordshire. It offers a wide range of courses including over 60 A Level subjects and vocational diplomas, as well as apprenticeships and other opportunities.
