Westminster Academy specialises in International Business and Enterprise. It serves a multi-ethnic community in Central London, and at the heart of our approach is the personalised curriculum based on the International Baccalaureate Learner Profile.

We are looking for a driven, innovative and organised classroom teacher to join a dedicated, hardworking and successful Enterprise department. The department has achieved outstanding results and in 2016 it was ranked in the top percentile in terms of value added nationally. At KS3, the Academy are developing the use of technology in the classroom through using chromebooks and creating a bespoke Business based course for students. At KS4 students undertake the BTEC course of study, however experience of delivering GCSE and an awareness of the changes facing the subject nationally would be an advantage.
At KS5 the department offers the International Baccalaureate in Business Management and Economics as well as the BTEC Level 3 in Business Studies. All of these courses are extremely popular amongst students with the intake increasing on a yearly basis.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, highly motivated and an excellent classroom practitioner who is committed to student success and development. Experience of planning and delivering BTEC and IB courses of study is desirable alongside a willingness to expand and develop the curriculum. Most importantly, there is a real opportunity to contribute to a team that is making a difference.
