Wyke is a rapidly growing, highly successful Sixth Form College with an outstanding reputation in the locality. The October 2013 Ofsted inspection reflected extremely positively on the College and value-added scores put our outcomes amongst the top in the country. The college draws students from Kingston-upon-Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, and further afield.

The college has an ‘Outstanding’ science faculty which is heavily subscribed with increasing numbers. Teachers within the department support students with a range of extra-curricular revision workshops which have helped contribute to the department’s outstanding outcomes. 

· Wyke is looking to recruit an excellent Teacher of Chemistry and Science to join this friendly and supportive department next academic year. 

· Teaching will include A-level Chemistry as well as some Applied Science and/or GCSE Science

· You should be a well-qualified teacher and have excellent classroom skills which have led to a record of high student achievement.

This would suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher skilled in delivering lessons with variety and pace who is looking for experience in post-16 education.
