About Us
Wembley High Technology College is one of the highest performing schools in the country. Nationally, the achievement of our pupils is exceptional; in 2019, our Progress 8 score of +1.57 has been recognised as the 4th highest in the country by the Department for Education. This progress from Key Stage 2 to GCSE has a transformative impact on our pupils’ life chances and last year, over 50% of pupils leaving us went on to Russell Group Universities to study a range of academic subjects. In September 2020, Wembley High will also be welcoming pupils from North Brent School in Year 7 for two years while their new £27 million building is completed. The addition of a new school in our Multi-Academy Trust provides exciting development and leadership opportunities for staff in the years to come.
The Science Department
We are looking for a teacher who can make a significant contribution to this strong and successful department and teach science across Key Stages 3, 4 and chemistry at Key Stage 5. At GCSE, pupils study separate science and combined science and the sciences are extremely popular choices in the Sixth Form with many pupils going on to study science related courses at university. As a top performing department within the school and country, pupils excel at chemistry for A-level; in 2019, 89% of our students achieved A*-C grade for A2 Chemistry and 96% of our students achieved A-E for AS Chemistry. Overall across the school our A-Level pass rate stands at 100% and 65% of exams were awarded A*-B grades.

Wembley High Technology College is a co-educational secondary academy based in North Wembley (Brent), for students aged 11 - 18. It is a part of the Wembley Multi Academy Trust and has an established reputation for a strong focus on academic excellence.
