Teacher of Chemistry

To join us in September 2019, we are seeking an experienced full-time teacher or enthusiastic NQT to teach the subject at all levels, including Sixth Form and potentially Oxbridge.  

The Chemistry Department has been very successful over the recent years with A Level numbers continuing to rise.  The successful candidate will relish the opportunities of working within a successful and experienced Department which welcomes new ideas and approaches to the subject.  You will be required to maintain the high academic standards of the department and popularity of the subject by adopting a dynamic approach in the classroom and contributing to new initiatives.

In addition, there is the opportunity to teach other Science subjects at a junior level and possibly up to GCSE for the right applicant or to support career development.  There is a competitive salary scale, for which the successful candidate would be placed at the appropriate point on this scale with reference to their experience and qualifications.  Accommodation may be available.
