The King’s School is a selective co-educational boarding and day school of 850 pupils in years 9-13. The school, dating back to 597 and situated in the heart of the historic cathedral city of Canterbury, has an outstanding reputation as one of the country’s leading independent schools.
A post has become available to teach Chemistry at all levels, including preparation for top universities. We are currently working on a new Science School to open September 2019. You will show a genuine interest in Chemistry and demonstrate a range of different teaching techniques. There are also many opportunities for involvement in the wider pastoral and co-curricular life of this large boarding school and there is an expectation that teachers will contribute fully.
The post is suitable for someone with experience or new to the profession.
