Job overview

Kingsley School is set in spacious and beautiful grounds close to the stunning beaches, rolling countryside and rugged moors of North Devon, in the historic market town of Bideford. We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Chemistry Teacher, salary equivalent to M6, with the possibility of a Head of Department role in the near future for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be qualified to degree level and have the ability to deliver consistently outstanding lessons in this subject to pupils of all ages and abilities, up to A Level. They will also have a thorough knowledge of the requirements of the relevant specifications and an ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and staff; together with efficient organisational and good ICT skills.

About Kingsley School, Bideford

Kingsley School is located in the coastal town of Bideford, Devon. The school is co-educational and has around 400 pupils aged 0-18. Roughly 100 of these pupils are boarders, with the rest being day pupils. The school is located on a single site on Bideford, with provision for all year groups. An academically non-selective institution, Kingsley School can boast of a wide range of facilities including a fully floodlit astroturf pitch, a theatre, and a dedicated sports hall.
