Job overview
Tes is supporting the appointment of a Teacher of Chemistry to join a Academy based in Liverpool.
The Academy is looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic Chemistry teacher to join their outstanding Science Department.
The successful candidate should ideally be able to teach Chemistry to GCSE standard and all Sciences at Key Stage 3.
An ability to teach to A Level or Level 3 Applied/BTEC standard and PSHE at KS3 is also desirable.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established department in an outstanding academy.
About the Academy
The Academy was the first independent school to become an academy and is continuing the traditions and standards of its predecessor school.
They were judged outstanding in all areas by Ofsted in January 2015. They have high expectations of all their students and they support them with excellent pastoral care.
Their extensive Enrichment programme allows students to develop into well rounded individuals.
