Monmouth School for Girls seeks to appoint a full time teacher of Chemistry from January 2021. The successful applicant should be a well-qualified and enthusiastic graduate, highly motivated, inspirational and innovative in delivering KS3, GCSE and A level Chemistry.

A contribution to the wider life of the school, both in pastoral and extracurricular activities, is expected.

Monmouth School For Girls is an independent day and boarding school based in Monmouthshire for girls aged 11-18. 

The school was founded in 1892 and is part of the family of Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools, which owe their existence to William Jones, a liveryman of the Haberdashers’ Company, who bequeathed funds to establish a school in 1614. Entry to the school is selective and, where possible, pupils are interviewed.
