Job overview
We are looking for a teacher of Chemistry who can demonstrate excellent subject knowledge, teach inspirational lessons across the 11-19 spectrum and have the drive, passion and teaching dynamic to make a significant contribution to our school. We are open to applications from experienced teachers or ambitious newcomers. Experience of Chemistry A-Level teaching is desirable.
We want students to not just study Chemistry but to become “Chemists” in the way they think and learn; to understand the world they see around them and to develop the problem-solving and analytical skills required to challenge its material limitations – considering the economic and environmental impact of decisions taken by chemists and scientists the world over!
