The International School of Madrid is seeking to appoint an experienced and inspiring teacher of Chemistry A-level, IGCSE and with strong experience in KS3 Science, to commence work in September 2017. The syllabuses at IGCSE and A-level are CIE.

Since 1971 ISM has been providing students with a broad and balanced
British education. Now home to almost 800 students aged from 1 to 18, the
school follows the English National Curriculum and is known for its child
centred approach, happy atmosphere and excellent standards of academic
achievement. The school is conveniently located in the heart of Madrid in
the residential area of Charmartín. The school is a member of NABSS.

The successful applicants for the teaching posts will:

  • Have a teaching qualification that is recognised in UK schools
    (such as a PGCE)
  • Recent experience in a UK school or an overseas school following
    the English National Curriculum
  • Be a fluent English speaker
  • Be eligible to work in Spain (have EU citizenship)
