Winchester College seeks to appoint a well-qualified, able and inspiring teacher of Classics. The successful candidate, who will teach throughout the school, will join a thriving 10-strong department. 

Winchester College was founded in 1382, and is one of the world's oldest and most academically ambitious schools offering a full boarding education for 700 boys aged 13 – 18. It is also one of the most innovative: a distinctive and challenging curriculum is complemented by a wide array of sport, music, art, drama and other co-curricular activities. The school prides itself on encouraging pupils to think critically, independently and with originality.

The recent announcement of ‘Winchester College in the 21st Century’, marks the start of an exciting new chapter in Winchester’s development and the College intends to welcome the first day pupils into the Sixth Form in September 2022 and girl boarders in 2024.
