We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher of Computer Science and Digital Learning Lead to join our team from August 2025. This exciting role combines teaching Computer Science up to the IBDP level with leading the school’s digital learning strategy.

As Digital Learning Lead, you will collaborate with staff to integrate technology into teaching, enrich student learning experiences, and ensure the effective use of digital tools and platforms across the curriculum.


JOB SUMMARY 

The Computer Science Teacher & Digital Learning Lead is responsible for delivering high-quality Computer Science education at the pre-IB and IBDP level while also leading the school's digital learning strategy from August 2025. This role involves curriculum development, fostering innovation in teaching through technology, and supporting staff in integrating digital tools to enhance student learning. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring students develop strong computational and critical thinking skills while also driving the school's vision for effective and meaningful use of technology in education.

Key Responsibilities

Computer Science Teacher

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons, ensuring alignment with the IBDP curriculum.
  • Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and computational skills among students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback to support their academic development.
  • Contribute to the wider Science department, sharing best practices and supporting cross-disciplinary projects.

Digital Learning Lead

  • Develop and implement the school’s digital learning strategy, ensuring technology is effectively integrated into teaching and learning.
  • Provide training and support to staff on the use of digital tools and platforms.
  • Enhance student learning experiences by identifying and promoting innovative digital methodologies.
  • Collaborate with various Faculties to ensure a cohesive approach to digital education.
  • Stay updated with advancements in educational technology and recommend best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A qualified teacher with a strong background in Computer Science.
  • Experience teaching IBDP Computer Science (preferred).
  • Experience in designing and implementing digital learning strategies
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to support and guide colleagues in integrating digital tools.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
