Job overview

 The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who will join a well-established and highly successful department to teach Computer Science across key stages 3 and 4. Results across the school at key stage 4 are outstanding and among the highest in the country; in 2018 90% of students achieved grades 9 – 4 in English and Maths and 26 students achieved the coveted grade 9 in English. Our BTEC ICT results are equally high with 75% of students achieving distinctions or above with a 100% pass rate. The new GCSE in Computer Science will be examined for the first time in summer 2019 and we also offer a City and Guilds course in Digital Technologies to our students. We are looking for a teacher who can make a significant contribution to this already strong and successful department.
