The Computing Department achieves outstanding outcomes and is growing successfully within the Academy to become a core offer for all at KS3 and 4.  With this increase in demand for Computer Science and ICT courses at GCSE and A level, we are looking to appoint a strong, enthusiastic teacher who possesses the desire and commitment to enrich and develop this highly successful department.

Sir Thomas Wharton Academy is a good secondary school of over 1100 students with a thriving and growing collaborative Post 16 provision. The Academy joined Maltby Learning Trust on 1st April 2017 and secured an OFSTED Good judgement in September 2021. We are now oversubscribed each year and we are very fortunate to be housed in a new building with state-of-the-art facilities.
