Corby Business Academy is a popular and oversubscribed 11-18 Academy with a growing reputation both locally and nationally. Closely located to the Leicestershire / Northamptonshire border we provide staff and students with a modern learning environment, offering state of the art teaching and learning facilities equipped to meet the challenges of a varied and engaging curriculum.
In order to support the continuing professional development of all teaching staff, we operate additional PPA where staff teach at a maximum of 80%. In addition, as part of the Brooke Weston Trust we access a range of CPD opportunities from the Teaching school for staff at all levels.
We are seeking to appoint a highly qualified, dynamic and inspirational teacher who is committed to raising standards for all pupils. ICT and Computer Science courses are very popular at KS4 therefore the ideal candidate will have the ability to teach Computer Science at Key Stages 3 and 4, OCR Nationals at Level 2 and and OCR Technicals Level 3.
The Computer Science department is situated within the excellently equipped Mathematics and Information Technology faculty. We are looking for someone who is willing to bring new ideas and develop extra-curricular activities.
