Teacher of Computer Science and Mathematics

British International School Hanoi is looking to appoint a Teacher of Computer Science/Computing, to join our talented and dedicated team of educators from August 2023. We are looking for a candidate who can also teach some Mathematics.

The role

The Computer Science Department is made up of highly motivated teachers who are eager to work with other departments in order to deliver the best student learning experience. Our curriculum is inspired by the English National Curriculum in Years 7-9 and builds capacity for students to consolidate their learning both theoretical and practical approaches. In Years 10-11 we offer Cambridge IGCSE, leading ultimately to the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) in Years 12-13.

The Mathematics Department at BIS Hanoi is a collaborative, supportive, forward-thinking team consisting of highly motivated teachers. The aim is to support our students with the development of their mathematical skills and foster a lifelong enthusiasm for the subject.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to plan and deliver high quality lessons that engage, motivate, and challenge students of all abilities. They will value innovative, enriching ideas, as well as being a strong team player.

The ability and flexibility to teach through Years 7 to 13 is essential. Experience teaching the IGCSE and IBDP is desirable, but not a necessary condition.
