Harbour School is a day, mixed, special school for children aged 4 to 16 with a combination of "significant learning" and "behaviour/emotional/social needs".

The school is set in a pleasant valley on the outskirts of Dover. Our catchment area is mainly Dover, Deal and their surrounding villages.

All children have a "statement" defining their "additional education needs". The school works closely with mainstream schools and is an integral member of three local learning groups.

Staff work in close partnership with parents and other agencies to overcome barriers to learning thus helping children to reach their full potential while enjoying a full and rewarding life at school.

All children access the full National Curriculum. The wider curriculum promotes self awareness, personal growth and prepares children for life in their local communities after leaving school.

The school sets and achieves high standards and enjoys a good reputation locally.

MISSION STATEMENT

“Learning & Achieving Together”

The school has achieved the “Investors in People” standard.
