Tes is supporting this Independent Senior School is seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic, and committed Teacher of Computer Science to join our highly successful school from September 2023.
The successful candidate will be able to teach students from KS3 to KS5 including GCSE and A-Level Computer Science and contribute to all aspects of the Computer Science department’s work, both inside and outside the classroom.
The ability to offer a second subject (Mathematics) would be desirable but is not a pre- requisite for the role.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Computer Scientist to join a leading department and work with highly engaged and an motivated pupils and colleagues.
The post would suit a new entrant to the profession, a talented ECT or a more experienced teacher looking for progression. In addition, it would suit a well-qualified graduate or ‘career changer’ wishing to train to teach.
The School has a comprehensive programme of professional development and has helped a number of staff qualify as teachers. Our training is fully-funded with close mentorship and support. It is flexible in that trainees have the option to take the PGCE with QTS or QTS-only path.
