Rated as outstanding (Ofsted - 2014), our school is growing rapidly as we have expanded our cohort and also now have a brand new sixth form. Therefore, we are looking for staff to join our expanding team. We are looking for an Easter or September appointment. 

You will be given all the freedom you need to be creative and you will be working with students who have chosen to be at a successful school. We can offer you the next step in your career and give the opportunity to be both developed and challenged, whether you are an NQT or a more experienced practitioner. The successful candidate will be working as part of a supportive and enthusiastic team. 

The Computing department at Corby Technical School offers:

· Newly installed computer labs across the school site, including two purpose built Computer Science suites and a Mac suite with full Music Technology and Media provision. 

· A rich extra-curricular program allowing students to expand and explore their learning through regular participation in national competitions. 

· A minimum of 2.5 hours of learning per week in Year 7 and 8 Computing.

· A strong and successful department that caters for GCSE and A Level Computer Science.

· A core of very technically able students, with a drive and ambition to excel in technical study. 

To be successful in this role, the candidate should:

· Be a Computing specialist 

· Be able to inspire, challenge and motivate young people

  • Be ambitious and have aspirations to develop their career
  • Be able to follow the established ethos and culture of our school
